DESCRIPTION OF SCUDO CARDBOARD CORNER PROTECTORS

Scudo is the family of protection elements based on manufacturing by adding layers of cardboard, as if it were 3D printing. Each layer can be different or the same as the previous one, allowing the creation of an infinite number of shapes.

The addition of layers makes it possible to manufacture the desired thickness.

Scudo has been awarded in 2020 with the prestigious Delta de Oro design award, given by ADI FAD.

These corner pieces and sidewalls are designed so that they can be adapted to various thicknesses within the same reference, eliminating the need to place seals.

At Brafim we have enough technology to manufacture large format corner protectors and sidewalls with the measures needed for each situation, in addition to being able to make, without the need of expensive molds, the most suitable shape for the corner protector or protection to better adapt to your product or work system.

Special formats according to the final process with tunnel oven or stretch film machine. It is the future alternative to many foam or plastic solutions, since it unifies all the packaging in a single material, which facilitates its recyclability.

• SCUDO corner and side panels are made of 100% cardboard.
• It does not come from fossil elements.
• Being 100% cardboard, its recyclability is within the reach of everyone, since the paper and cardboard waste collection system is more widespread than that of plastic and foams.
• It has a very high impact absorption capacity, comparable to many high density foams.
• It is not multi-impact.
