DESCRIPTION OF SCUDO SIDEWALL PACKAGING BOARD

Piece manufactured with our SCUDO technology of adding layers of cardboard until the desired shape is achieved. The side protection is a U-shaped piece, where the wings grip the piece to be protected, while the base formed by layers of cardboard offers excellent resistance to the impact of heavy objects such as a wooden board.

SCUDO has been awarded in 2020 with the prestigious Delta de Oro design award, given by ADI FAD.

BENEFITS OF SCUDO SIDEWALL PACKAGING BOARD

The sidewall is manufactured in different thicknesses that fit perfectly to the edge of the product, offering a very high impact resistance.

A wide range of thicknesses is available in the standardized shape. It can be easily modified according to customer requirements and it is possible to customize it.

Special formats according to the final process, either with tunnel oven or stretch film machine, as it is made entirely of cardboard, it facilitates the recyclability in the final customer.

  • Are made of 100% cardboard.
  • It does not come from fossil elements.
  • It has a very high impact absorption capacity, comparable to many high density foams.
  • It is not multi-impact.
